Light up the Night Contest This past holiday season Middlesex Paving and Maintenance organized a Light Up The Night contest in the local area. As per their post on Facebook, “Our family at Middlesex Paving is absolutely thrilled at the participation for our first year organizing this community experience! All of the participants did an amazing job!”

Helping Hands Counselling Services: A Path to Healing and Support by Pamma Hubbert When life presents its challenges, it’s comforting to know that help is available. Paul Rivest, a dedicated resident of the Kilworth community for 13 years and a registered social worker with 25 years of experience, has made it his mission to provide a safe and supportive space for those navigating emotional or mental discomfort. “My first priority in session is to make you feel comfortable, safe, and heard,” says Paul. “From there, I use a range of therapeutic modalities to help clients move forward with self-compassion and emotional balance.” Business awards Located at 186 Albert Street, Helping Hands is a welcoming environment designed to foster healing. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, loss and grief, or any other mental health challenge, Paul offers both in-person and virtual sessions tailored to your needs. With a focus on mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and emotional self-awareness, Paul helps clients explore their feelings and find the strength to overcome them. “Therapy is about finding the right fit,” he explains. “I’m here to listen with empathy, reframe your challenges, and offer hope.” Helping Hands Counselling Services is a reminder that seeking professional support is not only okay, it’s essential. Paul’s motto: Because sometimes we all need a helping hand.
