throughout the year. Over the course of 2025, I will be bringing you a closer look at some of these details. Sharing information through the Budget Book and the online Open Budget tool is part of Middlesex Centre’s commitment to providing an open and transparent budget process. For the past three years, the budget has received a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Financial Officers Association. This award recognizes municipalities that demonstrate the highest principles of governmental budgeting. I encourage you all to take the time to read and review the budget booklet to learn more. You can find it on the municipal website at middlesexcentre.ca/budget or call the office to request a print copy. As always, feel free to reach out to me with your questions and other municipal concerns. Thank you for being kind and thank you for supporting local.

exceptional job with efficiencies, reallocations, prioritizing and cuts to keep the property tax increase to all of us all as minimal as possible. I know it is not an easy process, and I applaud staff’s extra efforts. I thank you all for your understanding that we’ve had to prioritize some municipal projects and may have to wait on others. I feel very confident the budget presented strikes the right balance we need as we head into 2025. The Middlesex Centre 2025 Budget Booklet is a tremendous wealth of information, and not just about the budget numbers, but how things work and how everything from various departments all fit together as well. Think of it as a great reference guide
