Winter Break: Code Ninjas: Wintertastic, JR Edition • AGES 5-8 Perfect for younger coders, this camp is all about fun, learning and imagination. With a focus on introducing basic coding concepts, campers will work with coding games like hide-and-seek, a simple clicker game and a maze. Throughout camp, JR Ninjas will have a blast remixing these games into their very own creations by learning to design unique backgrounds, create charming characters and explore the endless possibilities of game design. Each day offers new opportunities for discovery and innovation, building a strong foundation in coding while keeping the experience fun and fantastic! T-Rexplorers take you on an adventure straight from the cretaceous period with this unique, hands-on exploration of dinosaur science and paleontology. Hold real dinosaur bones like those seen in museums! Conduct investigations of different authentic dinosaur fossil types from species like Triceratops and T-Rex. Enjoy discovery, humor, fun, games and an activity or craft to take home. You’ll be going outdoors (weather permitting) so dress accordingly. Please bring lunch, snack and water bottle. The lesson plan directs the use of self-mastery training that helps each student reach a new level. The knowledge of the instructors will give the participants a head start on their skills in preparation for club team play. Winter Break: Gymnastics - Tigers, Lions, and Cubs • AGES 3-6
Enjoy games, fun coordination activities, tumbling activities on the floor and learning to use the event equipment (bars, beam, rings and vault). Use the Tumbl Trak and pit every day! Work in small groups with a low student to teacher ratio. Larger group activities are taught using multiple instructors. Camp teaches and challenges each child according to their ability. This is the only camp taking place at this time; there is no conflict arising from lack of space. Campers must be toilet-trained and ready to attend without a parent.
