Spring Break: Kids First Track and Field Camp • AGES 6-13 Camp introduces many of the events that make up the sport of track and field. Learn new techniques and strengthen existing skills. Focus is on teaching the basics of sprints, hurdles, jumps, quickness and throws in a safe and fundamental way. There is a mini-meet at the end of the week. Conducted by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. Parents are asked to remain outside of the gym during camp. This class fosters self-expression, creativity, imagination, and teamwork. The camp culminates in a one-of-kind performance. Please bring a labeled water bottle and nut-free snack to camp each day. Campers will collaborate to create dynamic characters and original stories focusing on family, love, loyalty, and determination. Spring Break: RoboThink STEM Robotics Camp • AGES 7-11 This spring break build amazing robots and engage in robotic challenges and games! Equipped with RoboThink’s innovative kits, including gears, motors, sensors and mainboards, campers build and play with robots of all shapes, sizes and functions. Instructors take participants on a fun journey, learning about robotics principles and problem solving. The activities are interactive, hands-on and engaging to promote learning in a fun way. Get ready to spring into STEAM break with our real scientists and take a hands-on approach to creating some fun science experiments. Each day we meet we will cover new topics in STEAM, with our Matter Mondays, Tornado Tuesdays, Wattage Wednesdays, Thermochroic Thursdays, and Finally Exploding Fridays! Includes a tornado tube take home experiment. Each participant must bring a nut-free snack and a water bottle. The knowledge of the instructors will give participants a head start on their skills in preparation for the next upcoming volleyball season.
