PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION PROCESS
IMPORTANT DATES
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS • There is a $120 nonrefundable registration fee. • Two options are available for preschool payments. Please reference payment option information. • If your child is a new student, a copy of their birth certificate and current Certificate of Child Health Examination are required and will be collected at orientation.
• Preschool spots are available on a first come, first served basis. • You may enroll in one preschool class at a time. Once your child has been registered for a preschool program, you may not waitlist that child for another preschool program. • Please note, depending on the program, your child must be 30 months, 3, or 4 on or by September 1. No exceptions will be made.
REGISTRATION DATES: JANUARY 14, 2026
Priority Registration at 8:30 am. All children currently enrolled in the 2025-2026 preschool program or alumni families will receive priority registration for the 2026-2027 school year. JANUARY 20, 2026 Resident Registration begins at 12:00 pm. JANUARY 22, 2026 Nonresident Registration begins at 12:00 pm. AUGUST 13, 2026 Welcome packets will be ready to be picked up at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center front desk (for student registered at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center or the Seager Park location) and at the Knoch Knolls Nature Center front desk (for students registered at the Knoch Knolls Nature Center). Please check the website for front desk hours of operation. SEPTEMBER 14 & 15, 2026 ORIENTATION Orientation is an opportunity for you and your child to visit your child’s classroom and meet his/ her teacher. Preschool orientation will be on Monday, September 14, 2026 for Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Monday-Thursday programs. For Tuesday and Thursday and Tuesday-Thursday programs, orientation will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 First day of class for M-Th classes. SEPTEMBER 16, 2026 First day of class for MWF AND TWTH classes. SEPTEMBER 17, 2026 First day of class for T, TH classes.
ONLINE REGISTRATIONS • Registration for preschool is online only. PAYMENT OPTIONS • Pay the full program fee at the time of registration.
• Pay the first tuition payment at the time of registration and enroll in the automatic payment plan where an additional eight equal tuition payments will be withdrawn from your checking account or charged to a credit/debit card. These payments will occur on the fifteenth of each month beginning September 15 through April 15. Credit/debit cards that are declined will be charged a $25 service fee by the Naperville Park District and may result in the forfeiture of this payment option. PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL Enrolling in preschool is a commitment that your child will attend for the entire preschool year. However, we do understand that situations arise that require a withdrawal from the program. The Naperville Park District must receive requests to withdraw from the preschool program by June 15 in order for you to receive a refund of your first tuition payment. First tuition payment refunds will not be issued after this date. The first tuition payment is nonrefundable for preschool program registrations received after June 15. Program withdrawal requests received after the start of preschool must be received two weeks before your child’s last day in order to receive a refund of tuition paid for days that your child will not attend due to withdrawing from the program. Program withdrawal requests will be accepted October 1 through March 1. Refunds will not be issued for program withdrawal requests received after March 1. Please contact the Program Manager at (630) 848-3571 if you need to cancel your child’s preschool enrollment.
