NAPERVILLE DANCE ACADEMY

The Naperville Park District’s dance program begins with our youngest dancers in mind and expands to various levels of Ballet, Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, Tap (and other genres), depending on each individual dancer’s interests, skills and technique development. Each of our classes is carefully constructed to provide effective learning environments that are fun and professional, technical and creative, and taught by knowledgeable and experienced instructors.

RECITAL CLASS WEEKS Monday, January 5- Saturday, May 23

The Naperville Dance Academy program consists of two areas:  Recital Dance: program culminates with our May dance recital  Seasonal Dance: non-recital, adult dance, specialty classes Recital Dance Programs

Students may not enroll after the first day of class. Parent observation opportunities will be held during the season. Please register at least one week prior to the class start date. Parents must attend a 5-minute mandatory meeting at their child’s first class and stay for costume measuring that will immediately follow the mandatory meeting.

Each show on Sunday, May 31 will run approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Performance times, ticket information and more details will be released in March 2026.

Register now for the 2026 season of recital dance programs! These classes run from January-May and participants perform in a dance recital. This year’s recital format is rehearsals and pictures on Saturday, May 30 and four shows on Sunday, May 31. If your dancer is in multiple classes or you have multiple dancers in the program, they may be in different shows. Each recital class performs

Dance Costume Information Included in the cost of the dance program is a nonrefundable dance costume fee. Parents will assist with costume sizing and must attend the first class of the session the week of Monday, January 5-Saturday, January 10. Parents are responsible for alterations if needed. Exchanges will be made only if approved by the instructor and Dance Coordinator and communicated within two days of receiving the costume. Costumes will be distributed in class as they arrive. Recital Dance Important Dates CLASSES START: Monday, January 5 CLASSES END: Saturday, May 23 NO CLASS: Saturday, March 14 (ARRCC classes only) Monday, March 30-Saturday, April 4 PARENT OBSERVATION: Saturday, March 21-Friday, March 27 and Monday, May 18-Saturday, May 23. Due to the continued growth of our program we are not able to offer make-up classes.
