Painting: English Roses & Daisies • AGES 18 AND UP Also know as English Canal Boat Painting, this bright, bold painting style was developed in the 19th century. This folk art acrylic painting class will introduce you to the lovely decorations which once adorned the floating homes of canal boat families in England. You will learn the stroke techniques required to paint the stylized roses, daisies and leaves, as well as how to prepare a surface that is to be painted. No previous painting experience is required. You will learn this lovely technique in this step-by- step class. All supplies are available for a fee of $25 payable to instructor at the first class.
