Pickleball Basics • AGES 18 AND UP Pickleball is a fast-growing racket sport that is best described as a mix of badminton, tennis and ping-pong that can be played by nearly everyone. Program consists of instruction followed by actual game play. Players should wear athletic shoes and dress as for tennis. Equipment is provided, but bring your own Pickleball paddle if you have one. Trapshooting Fundamentals • AGES 13 AND UP Learn trapshooting range etiquette and proper gun handling techniques from Naperville Sportsman’s Club instructors. Then, shoot a round of trap under the supervision of an instructor. Fee includes ammunition, clay targets, use of a shotgun and eye/ear protective gear. Sportsman’s Park offers three, lighted trap fields with single and double automatic traps. Guests must provide their own shotgun and FOID card. Fees are taken on site. Coed volleyball leagues are offered at A, B C and Rec levels. Placement of teams within a division is at the discretion of the park district. Individuals may add their names to an interest list by emailing batwell@napervilleparks.org. These names are provided to team captains who need additional players. Dates listed are tentative. Captains are contacted with schedules. All fees are per team plus $20 per nonresident player.
