Triple Crown of Rodding

The Triple Crown of Rodding has a car age cut-off of 1972 and a truck cut-off of 1998. The “Truck of the Year” award (1988 to 1998) went to Brian Wojcik with his ’95 Chevy pickup built by Scott’s Hotrods ‘N Customs.

This low-slung ‘65 Chevelle station wagon sports a luggage rack and oversized steelies with factory dog- dish caps for a cool look. We’re betting the original 283 is long gone.

Jeff Berry had the Eastwood and Barakat tribute car on hand, and it’s a spectacular throwback to the early ‘80s. The aggressive stance is backed up by serious horsepower behind the louvered hood sides.

Long, low and sleek, Geary Trussell’s ‘59 Chevrolet Impala retains its stock body lines and stainless steel trim, but has plenty of modern details throughout. Under the hood is a 348ci W-motor with a one-off Ramjet fuel injection system, controlled by Holley EFI.

P.J. Burchett is all smiles when he’s behind the wheel of his ’32 Ford roadster because that means he’s taking a break from the madness of running three businesses back home in Knoxville, TN.
