Triple Crown of Rodding

It’s easy to see some drag racing influence on this outstanding ’48 Anglia that belongs to Bill Morris of St. Louis, MO. The car features fabricated running boards, a stout small-block and a diamond-stitched interior surrounded by a rollcage.

Jonathan Forrester made the drive up from Georgia with a few friends. Jonathan’s ’70 C10 stepside is properly “in the weeds,” and he doesn’t mind stretching its legs on the highway thanks to a 496ci big-block up front.

When it comes to hot rod attitude, this ’32 Ford roadster nails it. Norm Caetano owns the car and Henry Richards at Steadfast MFG is responsible for the craftsmanship. The car won an “Elite 10” award, as well as the “George Poteet Memorial” award and “Rad Rides by Troy” award.

Jimmy Hervatin stepped back in time to build this radical Ford custom pickup. The pickup looks like it came straight off the cover of an old magazine, thanks to its heavily chopped top, wild flame job and Cadillac caps with wide whitewall tires of course.

Although it wears a subtle shade of beige, this ’57 BelAir convertible is anything but boring. The car features handmade trim and a long list of modifications. Clifford Mattis owns the California convertible and took home a truck load of awards, including an “Elite 10” and three “Celebrity Picks.”

Bobby & Sonya Gilliam brought out a ground-pounding ’69 Nova from Arlington, TN. Schott wheels and giant disc brakes add to the modern appeal of this slick Chevy.
