Always ease animals onto feed slowly over a period of 10-14 days. Offer free choice roughage in the form of hay or pasture at all times. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Keep feed fresh in cool, dry storage. Do not use feed that is old, molded or insect infested.
