Held up for clear running from the 300m to the 200m and then failed to run on. Flemington 15/05/2021 Was very awkward to begin. Laid in, in the straight and from in the vicinity of the 100 was taken out. Morphettville 3/11/2020 Rdr reported that the horse did not show any early speed despite his efforts to take up a more forward position. He added that as the race unfolded, mnt appeared to lose interest in the event and when it did not respond to his urgings near the 900m, he desisted from riding his mount out and took no further part in the event. A post race vet exam rev the horse to be displaying cardiac arrhythmia. Co-trainer was advised that a satisfactory vet clearance, including an ECG, would be required prior to the horse barrier trialling to the satisfaction of the Stewards. T: horse had not been racing genuinely of late. Vets: No abs. Caulfield 8/05/2021 Rider could offer no explanation in relation to mares performance. Vet NVA. Morphettville 15/05/2021 Began awkwardly.Flemington 22/05/2021 Rdr reported he was not overly disappointed with the geldings performance. Post race vet exam revealed no abs. Flemington 15/05/2021 RR his mount would be better placed around a bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Flemington 22/05/2021 Hampered at start.
