AWT Labels & Packaging AWT Labels & Packaging has named Jennifer Watana as the new purchasing clerk/buyer at its Min- neapolis, Minnesota, narrow web, labeling and pack- aging conversion facility. PMMI The PMMI Foundation in cooperation with the Gar- vey Corporation has selected the University of Flori- da as the recipient of this year’s $2,500 Mark C. Garvey Scholarship. PMMI, The Association for Pack- aging and Processing Technologies, supports packag- ing education at more than 25 U.S. colleges, universities and technical schools. The student selected to receive the scholarship, Caroline Krueger, is a senior at the University of Flori- da majoring in Biological Engineering with a special- ization in Packaging Engineering. She has a 3.72 GPA and serves as President of the Packaging Club. PMMI established the Mark C.
