Creative Labels ,Troy, Ohio, replaced its flexo digi- tal plate imaging system with a CDI Spark 2420 flexo plate imager from Esko . Western Shield Label Company , Compton, Cali- fornia, acquired Inline Label Company. 3C! Packaging installed a new Nilpeter FB-3 flexo press. Paper packaging supplier Werthan Packaging , based in White House,Tennessee, filed for chapter 11 and planned to sell itself to competitor Gateway Packaging Co. LLC for $7.2 million. Color-Logic announced the certification of the Mark Andy Digital Series hybrid presses for use with the Color-Logic process. AWT Labels & Packaging , South Elgin, Illinois, in- stalled a new 52-inch, 10-color Windmöller & Hölscher Miraflex CI flexo press. (Cont’d on Page 7)
All Printing Resources (APR) installed a Bobst M5 Digital Flexo press at the company’s Glendale Heights, Illinois, technical center. Accord Carton of Alsip, Illinois, installed two new printing presses as well as a Bobst Expertfold folder- gluer. All Packaging added a printing press at its Salt Lake City, Utah, plant and a laser die cutter in its Auro- ra, Colorado, plant. 3C Packaging added a new flexographic printing press and slitter winder. Colbert Packaging purchased four new pieces of equipment for its Lake Forest, Illinois, plant: an RMGT press, a Bobst die cutter, a Bobst AccuCheck system and a Signature gluer. Dee Packaging Solutions installed a new press in its Chester, Pennsylvania, facility. Diamond Packaging added a press with cold foil attachment and a Bobst Masterfold folder-gluer in its Rochester, NewYork, plant. El Paso Paper Box installed a new KBA printing press, as did Royal Paper Box along with a Bobst die cutter and a Bobst Masterfoil hot foil stamper.
