BEGINNING ACRYLIC PAINTING

Learn how to work with acrylics, 'the most adaptable art material of the modern age!' Through discussion and demonstration, this class will give students the ability to learn to paint with acrylics. We will discuss why value is important, how to mix value and color and how to evaluate source material for painting. Specific modules are targeted to give students practical tips to approach and tackle difficult-to-paint subjects as well as learn how to handle various mediums. This course is specifically geared for beginners. Basic supplies will be provided.
