Diploma champions Year 12 Diploma champions Charlie Doutch, Jack Hastie, and Kennedy Xiao – along with Kirsty Howatson and myself – worked alongside the Years 10–11 students to check on their progress and help with ideas where necessary. Several boys achieved the Gold Diploma: Gold with Academic Honours Nico Blundell, Bill Cross, Daniel Stockton, Thomas Visakan Gold Felipe Felitti-Duter, Sammy O'Connell, Will Matheson LEADERSHIP Nick Sharr deserves much credit for leading the House this year. If you attended the House Quiz, you would have noticed the articulate, considerate, and good-humored way in which Nick compered that event. Throughout the year, Nick has led by example and given others recognition and respect. The Friday brekkie bun shout was a genius motivator. Nick has been ably assisted by the Deputy Head of House, Noah Yee, who has been widely involved in the life of the House – directing, conducting, coordinating, and keeping us on our toes with his sharp wit. Congratulations to Jack Hastie who will be Head of Condell’s House for 2025. Jack has immersed himself in cultural and sports competitions in support of Condell’s House since Year 9 and we are confident he will represent us admirably in 2025. Congratulations also to Kennedy Xiao who will be a Chapel Prefect next year. This year, Condell’s House farewelled Jack Hansen-Ratter, who left to focus on his tennis while studying through distance learning; Henry Murfitt, who took up a sporting opportunity to focus on football at an academy in Spain; and Millar Hiatt. We wish them all the best and thank them for their contribution to Condell’s House. We also farewelled mentors Ash Ward and Robyn McEwan. Thank

REACTION House Plays Noah Yee directed this year’s House Play, Blackadder Goes Forth , which is the last poignant episode of the Blackadder series. The cast featured Max Topham, Nick Sharr, Angus Vincent, Charlie Doutch, Bill Cross, James Anderson, and Felipe Felitti- Duter, and Nico Blundell on piano, with a guest appearance from the Year 13 group ‘going over the top’. Condell’s House was placed 3rd overall, with Max Topham (Baldrick) named best actor and Nick Sharr (George) and Angus Vincent (Blackadder) the runners- up. Nico Blundell won an award as our musician, and we claimed the best set and best costumes awards. They deserved this recognition for working hard to ensure the
performance was such a success. It was lovely to see the boys working as a team and making time in their busy schedules to get involved. Thanks to those who helped out backstage and at rehearsals. ACADEMIC AWARDS The academic achievements of the following Condell’s House boys were celebrated at Assembly: Nick Sharr – Gold Badge, Gold Buttons, and Gold Tie Matty Hickman – Gold Badge and Gold Tie Jacob Onions – Gold Badge Oscar Compton-Moen – Gold Badge and Gold Buttons Tom Rawstron – Gold Badge
