Days 10-11: Shanghai Fly from Guilin to Shanghai. Spend the next day at the peaceful Yu Garden and stop by a Silk Factory before seeing the city at night on a Huangpu River cruise. Days 12-13: Osaka Fly to Osaka. The following day, explore Osaka Castle, cruise along the Yodogawa River and stroll through vibrant Dotonbori where you can sample local delicacies. Day 14: Okayama & Kurashiki Take the bullet train to Okayama and visit Korakuen Garden. Continue to Kurashiki. Day 15: Hiroshima & Miyajima Hop on a ferry to the holy island of Miyajima and visit Itsukushima Shrine. Return to Hiroshima. Days 16-17: Bullet train to Kyoto Take the bullet train to Kyoto where you’ll visit the Golden Pavilion, Fushimi Inari Shrine (with its 10,000 torii gates) and a restored Japanese townhouse to experience the rituals of a tea ceremony and learn origami. Day 18: Kyoto - Hakone Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Ashi before venturing up the Komagatake Ropeway for spectacular views of Mount Fuji. Day 19: Hakone - Tokyo Explore the ancient Buddhist Sensoji Temple and enjoy a dinner cruise on Tokyo Bay. Day 20: Tokyo - UK Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
