Students of East Front Public School were excited to welcome the Easter Bunny. So much so, that some created rabbit hats and proudly wore them throughout the school. Such was the case of student AbinaThagikaran and teacher Carol-Anne Cayer. The Easter Bunny is a folkloric figure and symbol of Easter, depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs. Originating among German Lutherans, the creature originally played the role of a judge, evaluating whether children were good or disobedient in behaviour at the start of the season of Eastertide. — supplied photo
