There are currently nine RRC individuals ranked in the top five of events, and another eight relays ranked among the 3A top five. Among those ranked relays is Gilbert’s 4x800; Mueller, Stoker, Kraehling, and Emmett Barber joined forces to put up the cur- rent fourth-fastest time in the class. Will Hawthorne (front), a junior, was one of the Tigers’ top sprinters during the 2023 season and ran on one state-qualifying relay. He’ll be back to help the sprinters this spring, and he’s also going to dabble in the throws as a shot put competi- tor for Gilbert.
