MFG initially considered building a decisioning solution for its expanding financial services inhouse. However, even with a staff of close to 80 developers, the company realized it would quickly outstrip its technical resources, leading to lengthy implementation times, high costs and difficulty maintaining the solutions across multiple products and countries. MFG initiated a search for a decisioning solution that would eliminate dependence on IT. MFG’s credit card business had begun discussions with Provenir, so the IT department decided to evaluate the Provenir Decisioning Cloud for all of MFG’s business lines. MFG is using Provenir to rapidly deliver automated decisioning across multiple markets, starting with the home collection and online credit products in Bulgaria. Velinov and his colleagues will shortly introduce a Provenir-powered solution for credit cards in Poland. In all, he expects to deploy four solutions in Provenir – all without needing development resources. “One of the best parts of the experience has been working with Provenir’s Professional Services people,” says Velinov. “We did not believe we could do so much this fast. The Professional Services team is outstanding at educating and transferring knowledge, and this has enabled us to become productive very quickly.”
