The Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup Community Tour The 2023 Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup community tour proved as popular as ever. This year it started with a visit to Bar No.9 in Bishops Cleeve and finished with a VIP attendance at the Cotswold Riding for the Disabled Volunteer Awards. During the 10-day tour, the original 1924 Cup, once the property of Major Humphrey Wyndham, the first owner to win our flagship race, visited numerous hospitality businesses, schools, retail shops and charitable organisations where those in attendance learnt about the races long and colourful history and enjoyed the rare opportunity to have a photograph taken with the trophy. We estimated that around 2000 selfies were taken over the course of the tour.
