Race to Punchestown for free

It is a genuine objective of our Customer Service team to keep adding benefits to our membership packages and one way we can achieve this is by finding additional days for you to head to the races for free by just flashing your Cheltenham Membership badge at the turnstile.

Be Part of Cheltenham Forever

For years Cheltenham has received requests for the ashes of committed Racegoers to be scattered at the racecourse. In May 2023 a special Columbarium Wall will be constructed at Cheltenham in partnership with Spirit of Sport UK to hold the cremated ashes of just 812 Jump Racing people. These people’s ashes, individually inurned in a dedicated niche, will eventually be buried under the racecourse in 2054, when they will become part of Cheltenham forever. The niches will be sold to those who have the ashes of loved ones at home and also sold to members who are likely to require a niche before 2054. Buyers of niches can also choose to donate their niches should a family members pass away during the term of the niche. This opportunity better provides for those that would like a memorial where family and friends can gather, remember, and pay their respects. The wall can be visited 365 days per year. 80% of all people in the UK choose cremation, so we do expect demand for niches to be high. Priority

is being given to Cheltenham Members and their spouses, who can buy niches off-plan until March 18th and thereafter to the wider racing public, with priority being given to those who have register their interest on the Cheltenham Columbarium webpage - Cheltenham.spiritofsport.io Customers are provided with a simple and respectful inurnment event at the racecourse on a non-race day which their friends and relatives can attend. A reception in line with their wishes can also be purchased by the guests in advance. For many, Cheltenham is a very special and happy place, and we are delighted to offer the opportunity to those who would like Cheltenham Racecourse to be their final resting place. If you wish to secure a niche for either yourself or a cremated loved one then please view the website and schedule a Zoom call. During the Festival there will be an enquiries desk for the columbarium in the Hall of Fame, if you wish to find out more.

We have received a lot of comments on the growing list of reciprocal meetings you can attend which is approaching nearly 70 events across the year. Several members made the trip to the Dublin Racing Festival recently. There are a couple of dates on the long list of options that stand out as truly special! Tuesday, April 25th and Saturday, April 29th both at the beautiful Punchestown. This popular event will need no introduction to racing fans. It is five days of the absolute, very best of many things with quality racing at the top of them. It is therefore our number one reciprocal recommendation and we hope you take advantage of the offer and enjoy some Festival racing for free!

Beyond The Festival – Guest Badges Once the madness of the Festival is behind us, we have three more fixtures. Please use these as an opportunity to bring a guest along to experience the pleasure of racing at Cheltenham. Guest badges are available on: Wednesday 19 April Thursday 20 April Friday 5 May
