The tax rate for The Nation is the same this year as it was last year. Council approved the 2019 budget March 4, including a 3.98 per cent tax rate. The total budget for 2019 is $38,953,000, including the municipal levy portion of $11,368,000 in property taxes. That funding will certainly include the transportation priorities that our province’s communities rely on,» Yurek said.
