day morning and evening he went to the Church of the Open Door and on Mon day night attended the Fishermen’s Club. After the Club meeting he came to the Hall where we gave him an op portunity to testify for the Lord right on the street before a crowd of unsaved men. He- said, “ I will gladly give my testimony as to what the Lord has done for me,” and made a simple, manly and straightforward testimony. He con tinued to praise God and testify for Him during the two weeks that he stayed here. The night that he left for Colorado he stopped at the Hall and gave his testimony again, then had to run for his train. He said, “ I have led many men to hell; now X want to lead them to heaven. I never stopped at a street meeting before except to jeer— now I stop to praise God.” This man has been a cowboy, miner, gambler and business man and needs our earnest prayers. A Decision Blank Did It A certain man came to the outside services day after day and from his ap pearance and apparent sympathy the workers took it for granted that he was a Christian. One day he bought a Pocket Testament League Testament from one of the helpers. The next day for the first time he came to the noon day prayer meeting and said, “ I want to confess Christ. Yesterday I bought a Testament and on looking it through I saw that decision blank on the back page and I thought, ‘If you are ever go ing to accept Christ, do it now,’ so I did and put my name down.” Y. It has been mar velous how God has opened the way for us into this field, untouched by any one else except the Christian Scientists through their literature. Taking the men as a whole, they are a fine lot as far as men go, but like the rest of us, in great need of the Saviour. Thank God we have the great privilege of carrying to them the GOOD NEWS that will supply their need. How well I remember an incident in the work a few months ago. I went

BIOLA HALL ■A Minister’s Son Reclaimed E VERY day and every night'the Gos pel is preached in the entrance way oi Biola Hall. There are many different speakers who stand be fore the Chart of the Ages, explaining God’s plan as revealed in His Word, or giving their personal testimony; but there is one Lord and Savior who is lifted up, the very center of every mes sage that is given. Hundreds of men from all walks of life stop daily, to listen. A young man, the son of a minister, his face markfed with sin, stopped one night and listened to the message. When approached personally he flung

awayi in disgust, s a y ing, “ Don’t talk. to me; I don’t want to hear any of that foolishness.” The worker quietly s a i d , ‘ ‘ T h e preaching of the cross is to them that perish fool ishness,” a n d “ The n a t u r a l m a n receiveth

not the things of the Spirit of God.” He started down the street almost run ning, then suddenly stopped, came back and said, “ Say, where are those verses found? I want to see if they are in the Bible.” Every night for two weeks God brought him back to hear the Word. Finally he gave in and accepted the Lord as his personal Savior. He had come out here for his health and was living a life of sin. As we look at him now, after only a few days of living as a sane, happy Christian, it does not seem possible that he is the same man. In fact, he is a “ new creature” as God’s Word declares. He comes to the Hall every day and is studying his Bible faithfully so that he may win others, especially when he goes home. Imagine the joy in the hearts of that father and mother when they received his letter of good news! Think of the joy in heaven over one sinner that repented! Race Track Gambler Convertedl A stranger in Los Angeles, just from the races in Tia Juana, stopped at the outside service one Friday night, out of curiosity; but as he listened for over an hour the Lord touched his heart; and he was thoroughly converted.
