Registration Open For Women’s Summit In Atlanta During TAPPICon According to a study done by the Pew Research Center, about 4 in 10 working women (42 percent) in the US say they have faced gender discrimination. Many also say they have experienced some sort of workplace discrimination or know someone who has. On April 22, TAPPI’s 6th An- nual Women’s Summit in Atlanta, Georgia, will address this important topic. Designed for TAPPI members and non-members alike, the Summit was developed to provide a forum for women and men in the pulp, paper, packaging, tissue and convert- ing industries to discuss topics prevalent and integral to women in today’s workforce. In-depth discussions will focus on diversity, equity, and inclusivity, unconscious bias, and building relationships. A networking reception will follow the event. Hosted by TAPPI’s Women in Industry (WIN) Division, the Summit will be held in conjunction with TAPPICon 2023. Attendees also have the opportunity to strengthen business relationships formed at the Summit during the Women in Industry events held during TAPPICon which includes a Women in Industry Luncheon on April 25 and a Women in Industry session on April 26.
