GOOD CATCHES!! Keshia Hicks, LPN on 5N was recently recognized for her vigilance in keeping our patients safe. During the care of one of her patients, Keshia identified an opportunity to address a questionable medication order which resulted in a change in a physician order and a patient safety, "Good Catch". Lillian Moten, RN on Rehab, was also recognized for keeping our patients safe by identifying another opportunity on a patient that she was caring for. This was identified through our reporting system. Reporting GOOD CATCHES gives our hospital leaders the opportunity to review and refine processes to ensure patient safety remains our top priority. Karen is encouraging all employees to report GOOD CATCHES through Complytrack Occurrence Reporting System.

Both Keshia and Lillian received tokens for a free meal in the cafeteria.
