• Lead energy projects to ensure returns on investment and agreed savings are delivered. • Liaise with site teams to agree local energy reduction and sustainability initiatives. • Work in close consultation with our energy procurement partners, general managers, energy champions, project leads and maintenance teams ensure that energy efficiency targets are incorporated into all development planning and operational activities, establishing sustainability principles for decision making and replacement planning. • Coordinate any potential contract amendments where required and possible payment contributions from our university partners for capital investment to aid energy reduction. • Lead on the completion of the annual GRESB assessment and set out an annual plan that will lead to improved scoring. Other • Flexible working out of hours may be necessary from time to time. • National role requiring travel across the UK, including overnight stays. • Maintain appropriate level of qualification and competence commensurate with this role.
