Specifically, provide a systematic qualitative review of research on various genes that have been investigated in GxE research and the genetic contribution of oxtytonergic system polymorphisms in the pathophysiology of depression with the aim to address gaps in our knowledge and formulate a number of recommendations for future research. H&2*Y#!1#'!0&.4$'! For this reviews, empirical studies published in peer-reviewed journals in English, between January 2002 to April 2014, were retrieved using several search engines (PubMed, PsycINFO, and Google Scholar). Finally, references of retrieved papers were hand searched. After two of the authors (AB y CL) screened for these inclusion criteria, 241 studies were recruited for the first review and 11 studies were identified for the oxytonergic review, G$#.1/.\!
