JOB DESCRIPTION
•
Managing Facilities staff.
• Managing all mechanical and electrical services, plant and associated installations to ensure compliance with current legislation, ensuring all statutory testing, inspection and record-keeping is maintained up to date. • Managing and maintaining external grounds belonging to the campus (if applicable). • Supervising physical plant operations including utilities, energy management and safety and security systems. • Ensuring that a compliant, safe, healthy and comfortable environment is provided for staff and students. • Scheduling and supervising maintenance and repair activities, including reactive maintenance and contracted services. • Manage all cleaning and security provision, through regular checks and audits, ensuring consistently high standards. • Providing all facilities services and support to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
Reporting Line:
• The Facilities Manager will report directly to the Head of South and work closely with the Campus Dean and Head of Operational Services.
