Dean Baguio was an excellent teacher, something even the previously terrified or terrorized would have to admit, and have admitted, years after the experience. Terror is often in the eyes of those seeking the path of lesser resistance. I admire most of my high-school, college and graduate-school teachers. But I never developed a special bond with any of them, not even with Dean Baguio. So my choice of him as my favorite is pretty much a left-brained decision. He is the one who made the most indelible imprints on my brain in a subject so basic to my profession. I owe him.
