Meet The Staff
Corey Marionneaux, Founder Corey Marionneaux founder of BMC started his journey leading in the wrong way. Over time, with lived experience, Corey can relate to peo- ple’s circumstances. The BMC has been active for two years. He is certified in project management from UW Madison, the Cognitive Group Inter- vention Program, and Community substance abuse programs. Corey was motivated to create a baseball league due to the fact that he was a kid that was raised poor and finally had the opportu- nity to play youth baseball as he was sponsored through the community and wanted to give the same experience to our youth in Dane County. In the realm of baseball, Black Americans represent the smallest proportion. Corey knows first-hand of disparities, and with his lack of mentorship, he wanted to give the youth a better experience. BMC continues to employ and give job readiness skills to men in women of all backgrounds, espe- cially black men, with transportation to and from employment with wraparound resources.
