Welcome to our first edition of MANZE.
A magazine devoted to the Foodies of our community. This edition pays particular attention to an age-old tradition, street food. If you like your food, you’ll already know how it feels to stand among the smokes and aromas, Seybrew in one hand, burger in the other, chatting to your friends over the buzz of the crowds around you. Street food started in Asia, is massive in America, and now Europe’s getting a taste of the action too. In particular, the UK. In the end, it has blown over to us. It is now an essential part of dining in Seychelles, where roadside traders peddle aromatic dishes to hungry locals and travelers with an appetite for the exotic. Fresh produce, pulses, and aromatic spices combine to make dishes that are at once vibrant and delicious. Street food is everywhere, from takeaways to truck food, but also in the better restaurants and resorts. From Burgers or perfectly fried fries served with mayonnaise, or an octopus curry on a bed of steamed rice, roasted chicken with noodles, or wraps with fresh tuna steak and crispy salad, probably spicy yet affordable. As your preferred food specialist, we recommend some of our products that help all professionals prepare, with a complete range. A special thanks to the chefs who contributed and shared their recipes with us, which makes our magazine extra tasty. The glow of the charcoal, the smell of roasting & grilling, the clinking of ice cubes in the gin, and the laughter of a guest, we do it all for the same reason, the pleasure of life.
