Jack-O-Lantern Mason Jar Craft Supplies Needed: Mason jar (or any clear glass jar) Orange acrylic paint (or orange tissue paper + Mod Podge) Black construction paper (for the face) Paintbrush or sponge brush Green ribbon, twine, or pipe cleaner Battery-operated tea light Scissors & glue (or Mod Podge) Step 1: Prep the Jar Wash and dry your jar so the paint or tissue sticks well. Step 2: Paint the Jar Apply orange paint to the outside of the jar. Let it dry, then add a second coat if needed. (or you can cover the jar with orange tissue paper using Mod Podge for a glowing effect.) Step 3: Make the Face Cut out jack-o’-lantern eyes, nose, and a mouth from black paper. Glue them onto the jar once the paint is dry. Step 4: Add the Stem & Vine Tie green ribbon, twine, or a pipe cleaner around the rim of the jar to look like a pumpkin stem and vine. Step 5: Light it Up Place a battery-operated tea light inside the jar. Switch off the lights and enjoy your glow- ing pumpkin lantern!
