The Errigal Apprenticeship
The Errigal Training academy have been working in conjunction with South West College and North West Regional College for the past number of years and earlier this year saw our first two groups successfully complete the Errigal Apprenticeship. The successful graduates are now in full time employment with Errigal and are working on some of the largest commercial projects across the UK and Ireland. This year has seen the Errigal training academy becoming a certified City & Guilds Learning Centre and we are successfully offering fully certified training programmes in Drylining and Interior systems.
2018
Upskilling
Well done to all Errigal Apprentices and co-ordinators who worked tirelessly throughout this year in preparation for the SkillBuild NI and SkillBuild UK competitions. Errigal Apprentices were awarded 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in the NI SkillBuild in May and went forward to the UK final in November where they received a magnificent 2nd and 3rd place.
We have developed an intensive training programme to upskill our existing workforce. Our goal is to have all Errigal operatives certified in drylining. Our existing operatives will also receive training in First Aid, IPAF, Manual Handling, PASMA and abrasive wheels.
