GINGERBREAD GINGERBREAD House Contest House Contest Sign up today and pick up your gingerbread house at the community center to decorate like your favorite destination or place to be. Anywhere in the world: Paris, Disneyland, igloos, camping on a lake, even your own house. The possibilities are endless! Register by December 1st. Behavior Policy In order to provide a successful experience for all participants, please note the following: Participants must be able to function in a group environment with limited supervision. If closer supervision is needed, a caregiver or chaperone is welcome to accompany the participant at no cost. If there is an admission fee into a venue, the caregiver/chaperone would need to pay the admission cost. Unacceptable behaviors include, but aren’t limited to, self-abuse, physical or verbal abuse towards others, violent behaviors, profanity, and constant unwillingness to participate in activities. Non-compliance may result in the requirement of caregiver accompaniment or possible dismissal from activities.

Join us for a beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn the basics of matting and framing to make your art shine! In this workshop you’ll discover how to measure and cut a mat that enhances and protects your art. Each participant is invited to bring a piece of art (no larger than 6x8 inches) to mat during the session. We’ll discuss choosing mat colors, safe cutting techniques, and tips for affordable framing options. Leave with your art beautifully matted and ready to frame!
