This center was built on the shore of Rattlesnake Lake to inform the public about where roughly 70% of Seattle's award-winning drinking water comes from. Although the actual municipal watershed is off-limits to the public, the center's interactive exhibits take you inside the boundaries as you follow the water cycle from snow runoff to clean drinking water. After touring the center you can head outside to enjoy the Water Drums, an art installation commissioned to represent the natural wonder of rainwater collection, or enjoy a short, flat hike along the shore of the lake to take in the natural beauty of the area. Head to Issaquah's Village Theater for their matinee showing of Brigadoon. Dance your way back in time to this legendary romantic musical.
