and productive deployment of resources; supervise the quality of work, whether by the in-house teamor external contractors; design systems and procedures to effect change and improve service delivery; undertake regular building inspections and work audits to inform a culture of continual improvement;.You will ensure all works are delivered in line with the building regulations and statutory compliance. CAFM system (‘Flow360’): utilise the software system to maintain reactive, planned and PPM workflows to enable effective and efficient management of both the in-house teams and external contractors and to enable the production of ad-hoc andmonthly reports tomonitor performance against a SLA and KPIs. Compliance: work closely with the Estates Compliance andAssetManager, undertaking remedial work to ensure the School meets its statutory and regulatory compliance obligations; adhere to risk assessments, method statements, Construction Design Management (CDM) andHealth& Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, permits to work etc.; ensure all statutory training requirements are undertaken and recorded. Standardisation: lead and implement a programme to standardise parts (electrical, heating, ironmongery, etc.) used across the built Estate in order to simplify procurement, ensure replacement availability, and reduce costs; liaise closely with the Project Manager in relation to new building design. Financial and procurement: ensure that expenditure remains within budget at all times, liaising closely with the Estates Director and Finance Department about costs, forecasts and accurate accruals; meet the School’s tendering rules; manage financial processes such as purchase orders, quotations, work orders and cost information for all works, ensuring accurate invoice coding and approval.
