Health, Safety and Environmental:
• Promote and establish a strong culture of safety, risk, environmental and sustainability awareness and management and regularly review compliance. Develop, cultivate and promote an attitude that accident prevention and damage control are integral part of the campus and operational efficiency. • Ensure that all in-house and outsourced services are competent and comply with all relevant statutory compliance, regulatory requirements and environmental regulations; associated policies and procedures (internal and external) are known and adhered to; and ensure that corrective measures are taken when necessary to address any issues of non-compliance. • Provide Financial, Contract and Systems Management. • Provide monthly reports in the requisite format for the Head of Asset Management. • Implement, maintain and ensure all relevant policies, procedures and standard documents are utilised to guarantee professional quality management and contribute to ISO accreditation. • Ensure the capital investment programme is prioritised effectively with the use of property condition data, whole life costing and the strategic property plan. • People and Stakeholder Management: • Provide the primary stakeholder interface for E&F asset management services, including maintenance requirements, advice on project feasibility, best value technical solutions, funding and procurement processes. • Closely liaise with the Service Delivery Manager and highlight any pertinent information to them for their regular stakeholder and client meetings. • Manage and provide leadership for team members within the function, managing their performance and training etc. to ensure both the needs of the business area and their personal and professional development needs are met.
