Safeway x MIB is an awesome mating. This bull shows why. Great feet, udders, and fertility. I guess that’s how you get a 100 $M. Still doesn’t leave behind calving, performance, and carcass either. This is another animal to build a herd around!

These Comanche calves have been a pleasant surprise. Dad purchased him as the Lot 1 bull in Huck’s sale a couple of years ago. The low PAP and high marbling in an outcross pedigree was appealing. This bull is a great example of that!
The Safeway cattle bring traits together that historically seemed to contradict one another. Calving Ease - Growth, Marbling - Ribeye, Performance - Fertility. They’re excellent footed and moderate milk. I’m as high on Safeway as I ever have been on any bull!

Such a neat EPD profile. Do you know how rare it is to have every single index (including $EN) in blue? That means harsher environment cows still yielding more pounds. This bull and the two prior..... all do it. Incredible.
The number 1 REA EPD bull in the sale by a margin. A 15.9 inch ribeye at 980 lbs. That’s a 1.67 REA/CWT! If you’ve had some yield problems, this bull can probably fix it in one generation. Should actually drug test him. That’s not normal.
