Our Higher Purpose We help families spend more quality time together!

Goal: Improve the quality of life of our communities at large and of our workforce. We want to help families worry less about basic needs so they might be able to spend more time with their loved ones. KPIs: Integration in community conversations about needs, increased impact across all of Michigan, improved employee satisfaction scores, enhanced trust and loyalty to brand.

Every day, Outdoor Adventures' teams work to help families create memories together. That's why Outdoor Adventures is committed to positively impacting the world around us with socially, ethically and responsible initiatives.

Support stable family foundations in our communities

Inclusion in the outdoor hospitality industry

Culture of growth

We support family stability by helping with basic needs, such as food, clothing, financial stability, and shelter, so that individuals can focus on spending more time with their loved ones.

We want to provide special outdoor experiences for all. We believe everyone should have access to the outdoors regardless of ability, income, etc.

We are committed to developing our employees by providing training opportunities and a welcoming environment where everyone has the ability to grow and succeed.

2023 HIGHLIGHTS

Received Comunity Champion Award; Employees collectively gave over $18,000 to United Way through annual employee giving campaign

Increased donations in communities outside of headquarter’s location by 25%

Partnered with 2 new nonprofit organizations

Created and sold unique t-shirts to raise additional money for Special Days Camps

Increased total reported Volunteer Time Off by 15 hours for a total of 100 hours

Continued commitment to developing employees through various leadership programs

PROJECTS

Collected items & put together care packages to deliver to Camp Fish Tales Hosted pancake breakfast at Saginaw Bay Resort to raise money for Outdoor Driven Held different fundraising opportunities during National Camping Month

Had approximately 80 members attend Raised over $500 for Outdoor Driven Increased member and staff participation in fundraising efforts and partnered with 2 new organizations 90 campers and counselors received care packages Had approximately 20 employees and members participate by donating items Staff member helped plan Make a Wish Michigan local fundraiser Staff member organized warm item drive for Youth for Christ
