Commercial Heifers
This year we are offering commercial and registered heifers at auction for the first time in several years. We will begin with 25 open commercial heifers, selling in groups of five. They are home-raised from our registered cowherd, giving commercial pro- ducers the opportunity to purchase our genetics without competing with registered breeders. Though they sell without papers, each heifer has been registered and have their genetic information listed to document quality. Selling next will be 10 elite spring born registered open heifers. Featured here are some of the oldest daughters of KA Kindred and Henke Historic to sell anywhere. They are loaded with unique genetics that bring together the best of calving ease, perfor- mance, and carcass merit in a consistent maternal type that isn’t available for sale often. Rounding out the offering are 43 top-end registered fall bred heifers. These girls have jumped through all the hoops for qual- ity and performance, with many bred to the newly acquired $240,000 ABS top seller, KCF Bennett Legacy. These heifers have been ultrasound pregnancy examined by Dr. Joel Anderson, Cross Country Genetics North, and sell guaranteed pregnant to the breeding date. The arithmetic is right, and there are many future donor prospects with herd building quality in this group. All heifers descend from our 40+ year one-iron cowherd that is many generations deep in goal oriented selection for all the traits of economic importance!
