Be part of the NSLHD 160 tales of Kindness
During the Gathering of Kindness week, NSLHD has set a challenge to capture 160 Tales of Kindness from across the district to celebrate the impact kindness can have on people and places. An initiative that originated in Prince of Wales Hospital, sharing tales of kindness, looks to integrate the power that kindness holds as an enabler for staff well-being, person-centred care and happy workplaces.
Sending a tale of kindness is easy.
Click on the A link to the portal can also be accessed from the new NSLHD Intranet home page under ‘quick links’. (requires access to the NSW Health network)
Review and tick the box to agree to the confidentiality statement and click continue to take you to a Send your Compliment form (see image below).
FROM: Enter in your details. Staff members may note that your details are already auto-populated COMPLIMENT: Simply write your message of kindness in the message box. CARD TYPE: Make sure you select the ‘Kindness Works Here’ card type from the drop-down menu before you send. CLICK TO ADD YOUR RECIPIENT: All NSLHD employees can be found through the search function. You also have the option of adding the employee's manager if you choose to. PREVIEW and SEND the card!
Reflect on your act of kindness and how it can potentially make someone’s day.
NSLHD is hoping to receive at least 160 messages through the week!
