Hello fellow cattlemen, This year has been crazy with news to talk about. The cattle industry has been just as wild. It is fun to hear from producers that they actually made money. It is a feeling with which the commercial man doesn’t know how to react. I have been told by high-end people within the industry that we will sell cattle for more money in 2026 than in 2025. I sure hope they’re right. We all work so hard to tend to our livestock, it’s nice to be paid a fair wage for what we do. As far as the sale cattle go, they look great in my opinion. We changed a few things up this year. As you all know by now, we run a fair number of commercial cows. We run two herds of them; the main herd calves in winter and the other herd calves in July and August. We are offering a sample of our summer calvers this year. These BWF cattle come from our black cows out of Hereford bulls. They will work in anybody’s fall herd. I would like to also say how blessed and grateful our family has been with so much support for this still, in reality, new adventure of the seedstock business. Now days, we cover almost every side of the beef world. Besides the cow herds, we also background and finish animals, all with some custom feeding. One thing is for sure: things are always changing and it can be hard to keep up. Thank you for showing interest in our program. Tim & Rita
