Black and Red Modern Employee Training Program Booklet

Angela T. Williams

It is easy to stand and make vows to one another—but how many couples have truly walked the walk when the tests of life showed up? Ernest is a praying man of God who continues to lift his eyes to the hills from whence comes his help (Psalm 121). He has been obedient, following the instructions given to husbands in Ephesians 5:25: “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.” Please don’t ever get it twisted—best believe Big E does not play about Angie T! Angela is the modern-day Proverbs 31 woman the Bible speaks of. You are a shero and an example to wives, both young and old. Your marriage has been—and will continue to be—a ministry. Angela, as you were honored with The Art of Strength Award by Jason and Rhonda Turner for your endurance in caring for Ernest during his time of sickness, today both you and Ernest will receive the King and Queen crowns with the ruby stone as a gift to symbolize your four decades of true love, dedication, and commitment to one another. As we all know, the wife is the “crown” of her husband. Like a crown on a king’s head, she signals to everyone that this is a man to be honored and respected. She blesses her family— Proverbs 31. She respects her husband—Ephesians 5:33—and encourages her children and others to do the same. The blessed oil is a symbol of God’s grace at work through the faith of the believer. Such faith must be Jesus-centered, as was the faith of the blind man in John 9—he had faith in Jesus, not in the mud and spittle used to heal him.

Thank you for being an example to the Holidays. We love and appreciate your guidance and support.
