Catering and hospitality HSDC COLLEGE CERTIFICATE IN CATER- ING AND PATISSERIE Day: Thursdays 9.30am-1.30pm Duration: 32 weeks This qualification provides an introduction to some of the key resources and ideas within catering and hospitality, the use of materials, tools and equipment and the preparation and presentation of cookery items. There is also the option for working towards a Practical Cookery Skills College Certificate. Progression : There is a clear progression route onto L2/L3 provision at HSDC or Apprenticeship in Hospitality and Catering. Year 10 students can progress onto the NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft and Cookery in year 2.
Successful candidates will progress into a NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft and Cookery in year 2.
