OLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Ingerman , a de- veloper, manager and

builder of multi-family apart- ment communities, was joined by state Senator James Beach, freeholder director Louis Ca- pelli, Jr., Collingswood Mayor Jim Maley and the Colling- swood Board of Commission- ers, to celebrate the ground- breaking for the first phase of The Collings at The Lum- berYard, a new luxury apart- ment community situated in the heart of the borough’s celebrated downtown. The groundbreaking marked a milestone in Collingswood’s long-term vision for the trans- formation of the former Lum- beryard site into a vibrant destination for new residential and retail options. The first phase of the luxury rental community will feature 34 apartment homes. “The Collings at The Lum- berYard is a very welcomed addition to our Borough. This development will benefit our entire community,” said May- or Maley. “We are very pleased to be working with Ingerman to make progress on a first- rate development that will play an important role in the ongoing revitalization of our dynamic downtown, and will serve as a source of pride for Collingswood.” Located along Haddon Ave., which was named one of the “Top 10 Great Streets in America” by the American Planning Association, The Collings at The LumberYard is surrounded by an eclectic variety of shops, as well as the borough’s highly acclaimed “Restaurant Row”. A complete lifestyle experience is further enhanced by the community’s strategic location just steps from the PATCO station, pro- viding a 16-minute train ride into Philadelphia and easy access to New York City and Washington D.C. The community’s second phase, for which construction is expected to begin later this year, will consist of a five-story mixed-use building featur- ing 70 luxury apartments, as well as ground-floor com- mercial space that will house Ingerman’s new corporate headquarters and 1,500 s/f of retail. “We are excited to usher in a new beginning for this prominent site by providing Collingswood with an excep-
