Hello Everyone,
I would like to welcome you all to this year’s North Country Production Sale. It’s an honor to be a part of a long standing sale like this and I am thankful Doug and Jody asked me to join. It’s crazy this is the 3rd year already of bringing bulls to Glasgow, but as they say time flies when you are having fun! It’s amazing how fast it goes now that we have 2 kids that are always on the move. As I am writing this, here in the Bear Paw Mountains, old man winter hasn’t shown up quite yet. It is February 12, I am calving cows outside, kicking pairs out when they are just a few hours old and calmly wondering how long until he shows up in full force. I feel like some moisture would be a welcome sight, but don’t think we need any crazy cold temperatures, I feel that it is definitely coming at some point. This year in the offering we have 23 bulls and 80 heifers that will be selling sale day. I always say “if we wouldn’t use them I won’t sell them” and that continues to be my business model. We use these same genetics in our herd and really believe what we are selling. The heifer calves dad and I kept out of our commercial herd and would make someone a fantastic set of cows. Well I have made everyone read about enough I suppose. We really appreciate all the support over the last couple years and the new friendships we have made.
