According to city data, the Bronx has the highest rate of opioid overdose death in New York City, and while there was a slight citywide decrease in 2023, overdose deaths have tragically increased by over 100% since the COVID-19 pandemic began. In recognition of this critical health issue, NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln observed National Recovery Month by hosting a tabling event to provide vital resources and information to the community.
