She highlighted the new Bariatric Surgery Program, a partnership that brings a specialist to the South Bronx to address obesity-related conditions. Looking ahead, she passionately advocated for a new ambulatory care building to meet overwhelming demand and a life-saving Cardiac Cath Lab. She stressed that a Cath Lab would eliminate dangerous delays for patients experiencing heart attacks, bringing immediate, advanced care to a historically underserved community
