The project outline The newTarneit Library was named after Julia Gillard due to her dedication to quality education and learning for the people of Tarneit. This Library will provide a place for the residents to learn, socialise and create a better future for Wyndham. The library features an array of collaborative furniture including the original Colosseum, Wave Seating with Book Tubs and an array of Boss Pods to create a modern and fresh area. The Library is colourful and creates an engaging atmosphere for vibrant minds.
outcome “The Julia Gillard Library features a program and activity room, quiet study room, small group study room and co-working space, as well as an extensive lending collection of approximately 40,000 items.”
